Collection
The CARDE collection invites you to a sensitive journey through the history of Brazil and the world, revealed through automobiles, art, and design.

Memory and Art on Wheels
In a rotating exhibition, around 100 vehicles, selected from a technical collection of more than 500 automobiles, form the narrative of different times and territories. International rarities and icons of national culture share the space with works by major names in Brazilian art, such as Candido Portinari, Di Cavalcanti, Frans Krajcberg, Vik Muniz, José Zanine Caldas, and Joaquim Tenreiro.
Between sculptures, paintings, objects, and prints, the museum broadens the perspective on our collective memory, articulating the visions of the artist, the designer, the people, and time itself.
The collection originated from Ogg Pozzoli’s private collection, donated by Lia Maria Aguiar to the Foundation that bears her name, and continues to grow, reaffirming the commitment to preserving history and valuing Brazilian identity.

Indigenous Art
Among the branches and leaves of this symbolic tree, paintings and works by Indigenous artists from the states of Ceará and Amapá create a powerful encounter of cultures and knowledge. This presence is not incidental: it reflects CARDE’s commitment to valuing original voices that have been historically silenced. Indigenous artists and activists included in the museum’s collection, such as Daiara Tukano, Caripoune Yermollay, and Rudá Jenipapo, point toward new ways of interpreting Brazilian history, more plural, diverse, and connected to the deep roots of our identity.
